Day 1: Friday, July 6, 2018: Fly
Group flights will be available from St. Louis, but travelers can also make their own travel arrangements once the tour is a guaranteed departure. (IF)
Day 2: Saturday. July 7, 2018: Windsor, Oxford
On arrival at Heathrow Airport, our expert Blue Badge accredited tour director will welcome us to the UK. We will drive to nearby Windsor and have free time for coffee or an early lunch. In the afternoon we will tour Windsor Castle, including St. George’s Chapel and Queen Mary’s dollhouse. We will continue on to Oxford and check-in to our hotel. Tonight’s Welcome Dinner includes a glass of wine. (D)
Day 3: Sunday, July 8, 2018: Bath, Lacock, Oxford
Today’s day trip begins with a visit to Bath, one of the most attractive cities in England. We will tour the Jane Austen Museum, and see the elegant Royal Crescent. We will also tour the Roman Bath Museum. On our way back to Oxford we will stop in Lacock, a quintessential English village. The village’s most famous appearances include ‘Downton Abbey’, the BBC’s ‘Pride and Prejudice’ and ‘Cranford’, and the film ‘Harry Potter and the Half-Blood Prince’. We will dine in a traditional local pub, then return to our hotel in Oxford. (B/D)
Day 4: Monday, July 9, 2018: Oxford, Stratford-upon-Avon
Our tour director will take us on a walking tour of Oxford this morning, including the magnificent cathedral. We will drive through the scenic Cotswolds to Stratford-upon-Avon. After checking-in our hotel, we will have an early dinner and watch a live Shakespeare play (tickets are included). (B/D)
Day 5: Tuesday, July 10, 2018: Warwick, Oxford
We have a morning excursion to nearby Warwick Castle, a medieval castle developed from an original built by William the Conqueror in 1068. It’s now a family-friendly attraction, including a life-size trebuchet, and wax-work exhibits including a Victorian week-end party, and a Kingmaker battle scene. We will return to Stratford and tour the Shakespeare Birth House and Trinity Church. The rest of the day is at leisure. (B)
Day 6: Wednesday, July 11, 2018: Blenheim, London
We will visit one of England’s most impressive stately homes today, which was also the birthplace of Winston Churchill. Blenheim Palace houses a large art collection and has magnificent gardens designed by “Capability” Brown, including scenic walking trails. Our bus will take us to our London hotel and we will attend a London Show this evening (tickets included). (B/D)
Day 7: Thursday, July 12, 2018: London
Our guided morning tour will include Westminster Abbey, the site of many royal coronations. We will see the Houses of Parliament, and the tower housing “Big Ben”. The bell is undergoing repairs, so it has been silent for 4 years. Yesterday we saw Churchill’s birthplace, and now we will visit his War Rooms, and learn more about his historic role. We will watch the Changing of the Guard by Buckingham Palace, then have a delicious Afternoon Tea at the Goring Hotel, which is a favorite of the Royal Family. The rest of the day is at leisure. Day 8: Friday, July 13, 2018: London
After breakfast, we begin with a visit to St. Paul’s Cathedral, a marvelous building designed by Sir Christopher Wren and recently renovated to its former splendor. The Tower has a fascinating and rather grisly history and we will hear about the various inhabitants through the centuries. We will also see the glittering Crown Jewels. After the tour, we will take a ride on the Thames back to Westminster. We will end the tour with dinner in a restaurant, followed by a ride on the London Eye, giving us a panoramic view of London. Day 9: Saturday, July 14, 2018: London
Those returning to the USA will transfer to the airport. (B)
Day 9: Saturday, July 14, 2018: London, Paris
After breakfast, we will transfer to St. Pancreas Station and check-in for our 1st class Eurostar train ride to Paris. When we arrive in Paris, we will board our bus for a half-day orientation tour ending at our hotel by the Eiffel Tower. We will dine in a restaurant, then take an evening cruise to see Paris at night. (B/D)
Day 10: Sunday, July 15, 2018: Paris
Today is a free day to explore Paris at leisure. We will have a 2-day Paris Pass which includes entry to 60+ museums and monuments, and unlimited use of the public transport system. Taree is available to escort anyone who would like to see Paris highlights with a group. (B)
Day 11: Monday, July 16. 2018: Paris
We have a free morning to explore Paris. In the afternoon we will have a guided walking tour including Notre Dame, and an inside visit to the Louvre. We will end the day with dinner with wine in Montmartre. (B/D)
Day 12: Tuesday, July 17, 2018: Return
We will transfer to the airport for our flights to the USA.

Regardless of reason, cancellations are costly. To offset these costs the following fees will apply, plus any non-recoverable expenses to our suppliers:
From time of deposit to until 100 days before departure: $100
From 99-15 days prior to departure: $350 plus any non refundable deposits
14 days or less prior to departure: No refund– Cancellation charges also apply to additional accommodation reserved prior to and after the tour.
– Cancellations must be received in writing by 5:00 p.m. central time on the last business day of the applicable time period.
– For flight changes or cancellations, revision fees and/or airline cancellation charges will apply.
– Roommates canceling can result in a single supplement charge for the roommate. The Participant who cancels will be responsible for that charge if a substitute roommate cannot be found.
– Trip Cancellation and Interruption Insurance is strongly recommended.
