By watching a Passion Play we have a chance to reflect on the events most central to our faith, that Jesus died, was buried and rose again from the dead.
The producers of the 2022 play are Christian Stuckl and Abdullah Kenan Karaca. The conductor is are Markus Zwink. The designer is Stefan Hageneier. Click here to find out more about the the actors.
The Passion Play Theater was purpose-built, and is the largest open-air stage with a covered auditorium worldwide. They have removed some of the seats and now the capacity is 4, 384. All our seats are in Category 1 (the best seats), so you’ll have an excellent view.
Another bonus is that there are now free drinks during the intermission, including water, soda, beer, wine, coffee or tea.
