St. Jerome (347-420 AD) said,

It’s true – there’s nothing like being in the actual place where Jesus and the Apostles walked. Living in the West, we miss so much of the cultural references in the Word. As you visit places in Israel, Jordan, Turkey, Greece, Italy etc., you will gain a depth of understanding about the context of the birth of Christianity, that will impact your Bible reading and your life for years to come.
