Day 1: Wednesday, July 12, 2017: Depart USA
Our journey begins with overnight flights from Atlanta. (IF)
Day 2: Thursday, July 13, 2017: Edinburgh
On arrival in Edinburgh, we will meet our tour director and board our bus. Our driver will take us on an orientation tour of the city, then we will have some free time on the Royal Mile. We will tour Edinburgh Castle in the afternoon, then check-in to our hotel and relax. Our welcome dinner is at our hotel this evening. (IF/D)
Day 3: Friday, July 14, 2017: Blantyre, Stirling, Edinburgh
We will begin the day with a tour of Stirling Castle with audio-guides, and visit the Church of the Holy Rude close by. We will return to Edinburgh and dine in a local restaurant. (B/D)
Day 4: Saturday, July 15, 2017: Edinburgh
Our morning guided tour of Edinburgh includes St. Giles Cathedral, John Knox House, Greyfriar’s Church and the Grassmarket. We will also have a tour of Holyrood Palace. The afternoon and evening are at leisure. (B)
Day 5: Sunday, July 16, 2017: Melrose, Durham
We will stop to see Melrose Abbey in the morning, then continue on to Durham. We will attend the 3:30 PM Evensong in the Cathedral, followed by a private tour of the Cathedral and the newly opened exhibits area Open Treasure. We will end our visit with an exclusive meal and fellowship time in the Cathedral restaurant, just for our group. (B/D)
Day 6: Monday, July 17, 2017: Lindisfarne, Bamburgh Castle, Durham
Today’s highlight will be a visit to Lindisfarne where we will have quiet time to explore the Priory and the island independently. We will also tour Bamburgh Castle, one of the largest inhabited castles in the country. We will dine in our hotel this evening. (B/D)
Day 7: Tuesday, July 18, 2017: York
After breakfast, we will drive to York and our city tour will include York Minster, the city walls and a walk through the medieval center. After checking into the hotel, the rest of the day is free. (B)
Day 8: Wednesday, July 19, 2017: Baptist History, Cambridge
One of the guides from Pilgrims and Prophets will meet us in the morning in York and share about the Baptist and Pilgrim history in this part of the world. We will start in Worksop and hear about the puritan vicar, Richard Bernard whose daughter married Roger Williams. Scrooby was the home of William Brewster, one of the early leaders of the group who sailed to America on the Mayflower. We will also visit places associated with John Smyth and Thomas Helwys. We will end the day at our hotel in Cambridge and dine in our hotel. (B/D)
Day 9: Thursday, July 20, 2017: Cambridge, London
We will start our day at the Round Church, where we will see a film, followed by a walking tour highlighting the Christian history of Cambridge. In the afternoon we will drive to Hampton Court and hear about the King James translation of the Bible. We will end the day at our London hotel. (B/D)
Day 10: Friday, July 21, 2017: London
We will tour Wesley’s home and Chapel this morning and Bunhill Field Cemetery across the street, where we will see the grave of John Bunyan and other non-conformists. In the afternoon we will take the Grace Walk, including St. Paul’s Cathedral, St. Mary Woolnoth, St. Mary le Bow and Holy Sepulchre Church. We will dine in a restaurant this evening. (B/D)
Day 11: Saturday, July 22, 2017: Canterbury, London
We will take a day trip to Canterbury today by train. We will tour the Cathedral and the ruins of St. Augustine’s Abbey. The afternoon is at leisure to explore the town. Theater tickets can be arranged for this evening (not included in tour price). (B)
Day 12: Sunday, July 23, 2017: London
We will attend the morning service at Westminster Chapel at 11:00 AM, followed by a group lunch and some free time to enjoy the area around Buckingham Palace. In the afternoon we will tour the British Museum and Covent Garden. We will end the day with Evensong at the Metropolitan Tabernacle. (B/L)
Day 13: Monday, July 24, 2017: London
We will stop at Tyndale’s monument on the Southbank, then tour Westminster Abbey. We will then sail down the Thames to the Tower of London. The tour will include the Crown Jewels. After our Farewell Meal, we will take a ride on the London Eye. (B/D)
Day 14: Tuesday, July 25, 2017: Return
We will transfer to the airport today for the return trip to the USA. (B/IF)

Regardless of reason, cancellations are costly. To offset these costs the following fees will apply, plus any non-recoverable expenses to our suppliers:
From time of deposit to until 100 days before departure: $100
From 99-15 days prior to departure: $350 plus any non refundable deposits
14 days or less prior to departure: No refund– Cancellation charges also apply to additional accommodation reserved prior to and after the tour.
– Cancellations must be received in writing by 5:00 p.m. central time on the last business day of the applicable time period.
– For flight changes or cancellations, revision fees and/or airline cancellation charges will apply.
– Roommates canceling can result in a single supplement charge for the roommate. The Participant who cancels will be responsible for that charge if a substitute roommate cannot be found.
