Day 1: Friday, June 17, 2022: Depart from the USA
We will depart from Atlanta on a direct overnight flight to Manchester. (IF)
Day 2: Saturday, June 18, 2022: Manchester, Leeds
Upon arrival in Manchester, we will coffee in the airport, then drive to the Manchester Museum of Science and Industry. In the afternoon, we will walk to Ryland’s Library and Manchester Art Museum. We will load the coach in the early afternoon and drive to Leeds. After we check in at Radisson Blu, we will walk to group dinner at Wetherspoon Beckett’s Bank (2 blocks from hotel). (D)
Day 3: Sunday, June 19, 2022: Leeds
After breakfast we will walk to morning service at St. George’s Church in Leeds. After church we can spend the afternoon at Harewood House touring the house, grounds, and gardens. We’ll enjoy the great British tradition of afternoon tea in the Billiard Room. Free evening in Leeds. (B/L)
Day 4: Monday, June 20, 2022: Leeds
This morning begins with medical history-themed guided tour of the Thackray Medical Museum (if it’s reopened) and we’ll tour the ministry at St. George’s Crypt. This evening we will join the English-language class at St. George’s and chat to refugees and immigrants who want to practice their English. (B)
Day 5: Tuesday, June 21, 2022: Leeds
We spend the day hiking in the Yorkshire Dales. (B)
Day 6: Wednesday, June 22, 2022: Leeds
Today we’ll have a day trip to York from Leeds and explore York Minster, climb the tower, and tour the medieval city. Free evening in Leeds. (B)
Day 7: Thursday, June 23, 2022: Oxford
Today we’ll leave Leeds and explore the Lincolnshire and Nottingham region focusing on the heritage of the Pilgrims and Separatists that eventually made it to New England as well as the impact of John and Charles Wesley. We’ll have a traditional pub lunch in Epworth before heading to Oxford. (B/L)
Day 8: Friday, June 24, 2022: Oxford
We begin our day with a local guide who joins us for a walking tour. Among the highlights will be C. S. Lewis and John Wesley sites and Trinity Church. This evening we’ll have dinner together at an Indian Restaurant. (B/D)
Day 9: Saturday, June 25, 2022: Oxford
This morning we’ll take a medicine and science themed walking tour of Oxford and then have a free afternoon and evening in Oxford. Those who wish may attend Evensong at Christ Church, Oxford. (B)
Day 10: Sunday, June 26, 2022: London
This morning we will depart Oxford and attend church at St. Marks, Engelfield. We’ll have Sunday dinner with friends and take a tour of Englefield House (if possible). We’ll head to London in the late afternoon. End of bus services. (B/L)
Day 11: Monday, June 27, 2022: London
This morning we will head out for a full day of touring in London using public transportation. We’ll start at the British Museum, break for lunch on own and continue on a walking tour. We’ll conclude our tour at St. Paul’s Cathedral where we will attend Evensong as a group. (B)
Day 12: Tuesday, June 28, 2022: London
Today we will tour the Houses of Parliament and break for lunch on own in Trafalgar Square. After lunch we will explore the National Gallery of Art. We’ll take a break and eat dinner together at Spaghetti House in Leicester Square before going to see London’s longest running play, Agatha Christie’s Mousetrap (or a different play). (B/D)
Day 13: Wednesday, June 29, 2022: London
Today we will explore London’s medical history with a stop at the Florence Nightingale Museum, the Old Operating Theatre, and St. Bart’s Hospital Museum. After a late afternoon and dinner on your own we’ll reconvene in Trafalgar Square at St. Martin-in-the-Fields Church where we will attend a concert by Candlelight. (B)
Day 14: Thursday, June 30, 2022: London
We have the day free to explore individual interests. We will regroup in the evening to enjoy a farewell dinner together and a ride on the London Eye. (B/D)
Day 15: Friday, July 1, 2022: London
We bid farewell to England today as we transfer to the airport for our return flight. (B)

Regardless of reason, cancellations are costly. To offset these costs the following fees will apply, plus any non-recoverable expenses to our suppliers:
From time of deposit to until 100 days before departure: $100
From 99-15 days prior to departure: $350 plus any non refundable deposits
14 days or less prior to departure: No refund– Cancellation charges also apply to additional accommodation reserved prior to and after the tour.
– Cancellations must be received in writing by 5:00 p.m. central time on the last business day of the applicable time period.
– For flight changes or cancellations, revision fees and/or airline cancellation charges will apply.
– Roommates canceling can result in a single supplement charge for the roommate. The Participant who cancels will be responsible for that charge if a substitute roommate cannot be found.
– Trip Cancellation and Interruption Insurance is strongly recommended.
