Day 1: Sunday, June 5, 2022: Depart
We will depart St. Louis on overnight flights to London (IF)
Day 2: Monday, June 6, 2022: Windsor
On arrival at Heathrow, we will board our bus and drive to the charming town of Windsor. In the afternoon we will tour Windsor Castle, the oldest and largest inhabited castle in the world. It has been the family home of British kings and queens for almost a thousand years. Our tour will also include Queen Mary’s Doll House, St. George’s Chapel, and the State Apartments. We’ll dine in our hotel this evening. (IF/D)
Day 3: Tuesday, June 7, 2022: Stonehenge, Stratford-upon-Avon
We will start the day with a delicious traditional British breakfast, then board the bus to drive to Stonehenge, Europe’s most famous prehistoric monument. The tour includes a visit to the museum and the stones. We will then continue on the Stratford-upon-Avon, a medieval market town closely associated with William Shakespeare. Our afternoon tour will include Shakespeare’s birthplace and Holy Trinity Church. There will be an option to attend a live Shakespeare performance this evening or go on a ghost walk. (B/D)
Day 4: Wednesday, June 8, 2022: Warner Brothers, London
After breakfast we will visit the Warner Brothers, Harry Potter Studio, for a guided tour. This is where many of the movies were filmed, and we will be able to walk on sets like Diagon Alley, and see famous costumes and props. In the afternoon we will see London from the top of a hop-on hop-off, which will give us an excellent overview of the city. Tonight’s meal is in Covent Garden. (B/D)
Day 5: Thursday, June 9, 2022: London
We will begin our day with a Beefeater tour of the Tower of London. This historic palace was built by William the Conqueror after his invasion in 1066. Our tour will include the magnificent crown jewels. We will then visit the British Museum houses, which houses many treasures, including the Rosetta Stone, the Elgin Marbles, and the Easter Island Statue. The collection was founded in 1753 and spans over two million years of human history. We will dine early, then we see a show in the West End Theatre district. (B/D)
Day 6: Friday, June 10, 2018: London
This morning we will explore the city using a London Pass, which gives us free entry into 80+ attractions, as well as skip-the-line entry. The pass comes with a 160 page guidebook too! The tour director and tour hosts will be available to take accompany you, but adults have the option of exploring independently. Popular attractions include the Churchill War Rooms, Hampton Court, the Wimbledon Tour Experience, National Theater Backstage Tours, Benjamin Franklin House and the Royal Observatory in Greenwich. It’s also an ideal day for Afternoon Tea. (B)
Day 7: Saturday, June 11, 2022: London
We will begin our day with a guided tour of Westminster Abbey, where many of Britain’s kings and queens have been crowned since 1066. It’s also been the setting for many royal weddings, including Queen Elizabeth II. In Poet’s Corner we will see graves of many well-known artists, soldiers, statesmen etc., including Dickens and Shakespeare. This afternoon there is an off-road guided bike tour through some of London’s most famous parks, including Kensington Gardens and Hyde Park. Bikes, and helmets are provided. Dinner this evening is at Strada at the Royal Festival Hall (or similar), followed by a ride on the London Eye. We will be able to look over London and see the places we’ve visited during our tour. Day 8: Sunday, June 12, 2022: London, Paris
We will bid adieu to England today and take the Eurostar train to Paris. Our bus will pick us up at Gare du Nord and we’ll begin our time in France with an orientation tour of the city, noting landmarks like Notre Dame, Sacre-Coeur, and the Eiffel Tower. After we have checked-in to our hotel, we will go to Montmartre, where we will have fabulous views of the city, and see artists at work. (B)
Day 9: Monday, June 13, 2022: Paris
The Eiffel Tower was built for the 1889 World Exposition and still attracts close to seven million visitors a year. We will go up to the 2nd floor for magnificent views of the city. We will then board a boat for a cruise on the Seine to see famous landmarks from the water. No visit to Paris is complete without a tour of the stunning art in the Louvre. Our guide will give us a tour of the highlights of the world’s largest art museum, including seeing the Mona Lisa. The rest of the day is at leisure. (B)
Day 10: Tuesday, June 14, 2022: Paris
Today is set aside for us to explore Paris according to our own interests (additional costs apply). We will have a variety of options to choose from using our Paris Visite Travel Card for Zones 1-3 which will allow us to travel freely on the Paris public transport system and visit most of the main sights and museums of Paris. One option is an in-depth food experience with Le Foodist, a specialist cooking school, to experience the food and culture of France in a fun and delicious way. After coffee and croissants, we will visit the local market to purchase fresh ingredients. The hands-on cooking class will end with a delicious 3-course lunch. The chef will share stories about French culture and wine and we’ll come away with recipes and classically French culinary techniques. In the evening, we will meet for dinner at a local restaurant. Disneyland Paris is within easy reach via public transport. (B/D)
Day 11: Wednesday, June 15, 2022: Return
We will transfer to Charles de Gaulle Airport for our return flights to St. Louis. (B/IF)

Whenever possible, we choose hotels in town centers, so that you are able to go off and explore in your free time. It may be necessary for us to substitute hotels for others of equal quality. If you have booked your own flights, we can still provide transfers, as long as we have your flight details on file and a phone number to give to the driver. We will include your transfer information in your final packet. Transfers will be arranged for each arrival, so that you won’t have to wait for other tour members if their flight is delayed. Transfers can be arranged for the day of your choosing, but we can’t arrange transfers if you arrive or depart by train.

Regardless of reason, cancellations are costly. To offset these costs the following fees will apply, plus any non-recoverable expenses to our suppliers:
From time of deposit to until 100 days before departure: $100
From 99-15 days prior to departure: $350 plus any non refundable deposits
14 days or less prior to departure: No refund– Cancellation charges also apply to additional accommodation reserved prior to and after the tour.
– Cancellations must be received in writing by 5:00 p.m. central time on the last business day of the applicable time period.
– For flight changes or cancellations, revision fees and/or airline cancellation charges will apply.
– Roommates canceling can result in a single supplement charge for the roommate. The Participant who cancels will be responsible for that charge if a substitute roommate cannot be found.
– Trip Cancellation and Interruption Insurance is strongly recommended.
